Which is better andover or exeter
In , when Andover did not rank first place, the yield rate was still 83 percent, similar to the years where it was ranked first. Similarly, our yield rate number of students who say yes to our offer of admission has varied from the high 70s to the low-to-mid 80s over the past 10 years. Andover was rated [first] on Niche. According to Mallick, rankings from Niche and similar websites, although they can be helpful, do not provide a complete representation of a school.
Getting to know a school is an important, thoughtful exploration. Our revisit days are cited as the most important part of the decision-making process. According to Linda Carter Griffith, Associate Head of School for Equity, Inclusion, and Wellness, Andover has and will continue to be an institution that excels in scholastic, athletic, and artistic achievement, as well as a bastion for equity.

Thank you for the suggestion! Thank you CMKDad! And thank you Calliemomofgirls for the great info on Andover -those are extremely helpful! My interview is scheduled on a weekday so just want to plan ahead if it requires parents. Many thanks! Jane90 During my Andover Interview, they wanted to speak with my parents. IME it is typical for BSs to talk to the parents and applicants separately. When we were doing this a few years ago we were told that it is to make sure that everybody knows what they are signing up for and to give both parents and students to speak more freely.
And love it. I have to take issue with the comments about the town of Exeter, in particular the restaurants. I second droidslookingfor on the town of Exeter.
We had an interview with Andover this week. I asked what the expected homework level was and was shocked, shocked I was told an hour. Is this correct? Was the interviewer wrong? Was I tol the wrong thing? I mean I conceive of a great education where that is true. And Exeter said 4. For PA, homework is definitely more than 1 hr per day. In Andover, students came in large groups, knowing each other before hand, so it was harder to socialize with these people who were in their closed, private circles.
However, I did like the town of Andover a lot more than Exeter. Also, having the supermarket in town was a huge advantage in my opinion. I also felt like we had more freedom in Andover. These are the opinions of the students who attended both summer sessions of these great schools. The Author David Salinger.
