I touched them. They are dry the second they come out of that bad boy and are supposed to last up to weeks. What happened? Should I get my money back? Shellac is a brand that is synonymous with the gel polish trend. Most gel and most polish lines have a gel polish that can be touched up with matching regular polish or can be used for a long last set of gel nails. You need a different manicure routine to do a shellac manicure, you need to move anything with oils till after the polish has been cured so there are not lifting spots under.

You also need to question what your client has been doing. It's quite awkward I know but I had the same thing a couple of years ago and it turned out my client went home and had been using bleach!!
So it may not be your fault x. In this weather I'd suspect sunscreen. Cuticle left on, removing cuticle away with Scrubfresh not water, client using harsh chemicals at home,. Thanks girls, i am preping the nails correct i just cant figure out how it came off it did peel off her thumbs ilshe said it popped off?
I don't believe it popped off either. I'd be interested in the condition of her nails when you see her. What clients mean when they say "it popped off " The nail might have lifted in the front free edge and they fiddled with it and it can easily come off in a solid whole nail.
Personally I can't get shellac to last 3 days on my own nails , so it might just be the client's home care as well as her own nails. Magie said:. The first layer of color should remain transparent! The second layer will make the colour opaque, if you have chosen an opaque colour. Make sure to shake the product well before the application. Do not over-cure the color. This may affect the wear time of the manicure.
Make sure that you do not touch the skin with the product.
